Implexed

After you've learned how to see the world through the third eye...

Try to look at it through your fifth.

Define "touched", would you?

I felt my freedom being captured, something run through me, it touched my face with a cold fingertip, whispered calming words in my ears, found my soul, shut me down and switched the power on again, lighted my fire and took my voice from me, my nose was bleeding and as I raised my hand I noticed that I couldn't make it stop trembling...
I think there's a crack in my brain.

Peace.

My brothers halloween costume

My brother is going on "trick or treat" this evening, so I offered to do his make-up.

Start with a white coat of theatre make-up over the entire face and down the front part of the neck. What's special with theatre make-up is that it's based on oil instead of water and therefor covers better and doesn't crack after a while as water-based products has a tendency to.

Then you do a exageratte smoky eyes make-up around the eyes and attach the zipper with a strong body glue (for example the one that comes with fake lashes).

Put vax at the edges of the zipper so it appears to be a part of the skin, except the colour difference of course, fix that with watercolour.

Then apply some toiletpaper mixed with ordinary wood glue around the mouth, nose and the other areas "inside of the body". You could also put some glue directly at your face and rub it to get some skin looking flakes.
And after you've done that it's just the real artistic work left. I usually begin with black and then add several layers of red on top of that, you could also use a bit of purple/dark blue to get the right tones. The colour I've used here's just ordinary watercolour.

Add some fake blood... And you're ready to go!

Don't scare any old ladies to death please. Otherwise have a great time! Happy halloween!

Oh, and notice my previous halloween costume post as well!
Peace!

Misplaced inspiration?

Music has an ability to give a lot of inspiration.
Sometimes it gives me so much inspiration that I'm not sure where to get rid of all the creativity running through my blood, right next to that special kind of adrenalin you get when feeling sort of enlightened or something like it...

This time I was listening to Tool, wich is one of my favourites. I'd bought a cd with them and I was listening to it alone - all focus on the music - for the first time. The music took control over my senses.

I think I could have crushed a wall or somethiung in that moment, or just burst into flames, rapped my soul into pieces, melted down to the floor and cried endlessly... But I made this instead.
Feeble?

Peace!

Something you should try this Weekend

Last weekend I saw a bunch of movies with a friend. My friend is not allowed to eat candy, therefor we had to figure something else out to eat... And so we thought of the idea of icecream, but as you all know icecream can get a bit boring after a while, having the same taste in your mouth all the time and so on...
We finally came up with a great idea - we bought two Ben&Jerrys, used a bread knife to cut them in half and then we switched the bottoms of the packages and taped them together into one piece again so we got both tastes in one package, awesome!

I know we could just have used a spoon to put some of one of the icecream in a bowl and then take some of the other and mix it, or we could just have switched with one an other after eaten half of it... But wouldn't that have been quite boring though?

Peace!

Halloween costume

We had this horror thing at school where my class arranged a horror tour in the basement of the school for the other classes.

I played a possessed creature which in jerky, convulsive motions moved towards the visitors along a completely dark corridor except some candles. It was really fun and I would love to do it again some time!
I practiced at my make-up the day before the real show and took some pictures so you could get the look, here it goes:

I started by inserting my black lenses, but I guess you could do that later as well. Then I painted my face white by using ordinary watercolour.

Then I attached some hair wax on each side of my mouth ( it will make the scar more realistic ) and painted it with red and black watercolour.

Then I added the safetypins by attaching them into the wax.

I also put some dark shades arround my eyes and fake eyelashes on the lower lash line, but the lashes was too much so I decided to remove them.

Remeber that you don't have to use both the lenses, it makes a big difference!

  Done!

Peace!

As good as new

I finally came to my sences this evening 'bout doing something about my old, ugly and - truth be told - quite charming sofa.

I made a new cover for it by using an old, white bedspread in a grossly fabric as material. The only thing needed besides that was a sewing machine and a handfull of needles. Nothing special, very easy and it took me about an hour to complete it, awesome!

The fabric was a perfect square in the beginning and needed to be longer in one way to cover all of the sofa. I solved the problem in the easiest way and simply just chopped it of at one side and sewed the pieces back together again (but this time so the fabric got the rectangular shape I wanted).

Like said before, very easy and the seam is almost not even noticable.

I'm pleased with the result!

 Peace!!

Pen pocket

We all could admit it - school isn't something that you normaly are looking forward to.

I do, on the other hand, believe that we all just as well could admit that there are plenty of stuff we could do to make it a lot easier for ourselves going there.  We just don't have what it takes to do it - energy, time and an certain amount of will.
For example, the hardest part of being in school according to me is being forced to hang around in that old, uninspiring and boring environment and the feeling of inability to affect it in any way.

But then I realized that that isn't even close to the truth! I could actually quite easily do something about it, the environment I mean.

Look, for example I pimped my penn pocket!

From being a boring black one to becoming a little more personal thing to carry around between the classes, yay!

Peace!

London, St Pauls Cathedral, Harrods

One of the most astonishing buildings in London is the St Pauls Cathedral. It has three layers of floors/balconys that you can claim up to by some intensive stairs. I realized when were on the first floor that I am terrible afraid of hights... But after the climb (felt like a near-death experience) we finaly reached the highest balcony and I was delighted to be there and to have strived for the goal. I felt invincible, imortal, and at the same time frightend to death. My legs were shaking and I think I felt a slight shiver down my spine as I sneak-peeked over the railing....

We also went to the famous shopping mall Harrods. It's like an ordinary mall but they have like everything and it's really, really fancy. And quite expensive as well...
The malls owner is the father of Dodi Fayed, the man that Diana, princess of Wales, was together with when they both died in a car accident. Therefor the statue "Innocent victims" that's dipicting them in the entrence of Harrods.

Yum, delicious!

Peace!

London, famous attractions and stuff

After we had been to the Madame Tussauds we went to take a look at some of the famous buildings in central London.

Big Ben

London Eye

Some Castles

Piccadilly Circus

Downing Street

And of course we saw some of the famous phone booths at the cosy streets.

A fantastic city. That's a fact.

Peace!
