We all could admit it - school isn't something that you normaly are looking forward to.
I do, on the other hand, believe that we all just as well could admit that there are plenty of stuff we could do to make it a lot easier for ourselves going there. We just don't have what it takes to do it - energy, time and an certain amount of will.
For example, the hardest part of being in school according to me is being forced to hang around in that old, uninspiring and boring environment and the feeling of inability to affect it in any way.
But then I realized that that isn't even close to the truth! I could actually quite easily do something about it, the environment I mean.
Look, for example I pimped my penn pocket!
From being a boring black one to becoming a little more personal thing to carry around between the classes, yay!
Peace!

London, St Pauls Cathedral, Harrods
One of the most astonishing buildings in London is the St Pauls Cathedral. It has three layers of floors/balconys that you can claim up to by some intensive stairs. I realized when were on the first floor that I am terrible afraid of hights... But after the climb (felt like a near-death experience) we finaly reached the highest balcony and I was delighted to be there and to have strived for the goal. I felt invincible, imortal, and at the same time frightend to death. My legs were shaking and I think I felt a slight shiver down my spine as I sneak-peeked over the railing....
We also went to the famous shopping mall Harrods. It's like an ordinary mall but they have like everything and it's really, really fancy. And quite expensive as well...
The malls owner is the father of Dodi Fayed, the man that Diana, princess of Wales, was together with when they both died in a car accident. Therefor the statue "Innocent victims" that's dipicting them in the entrence of Harrods.
Yum, delicious!

London, famous attractions and stuff
After we had been to the Madame Tussauds we went to take a look at some of the famous buildings in central London.
Big Ben
London Eye
Some Castles
Piccadilly Circus
A fantastic city. That's a fact.
Peace!

London, Madame Tussauds
I've been dreaming about going on this tripp for such a long time now that when I finally have actually experienced and felt the atmosphere of the city of my dreams, it all kinda feels like nothing more than that - an excellent, extrordinary and absolute spectacular dream... It's surreal, I can't believe that I've actually been there!
The only and the best advice I can give you though is, if you ever go there:
Seize the day for heaven's sake!
I think I'll have to devide the tripp into several posts... Starting here with the pictures of my first day in London!!
Madame Tussauds.
"Meeting" some of the greatest idols and role models of my life was... Well I can't even describe it. But I guess you could imagine yourself what it would feels like. It was totaly insane, but in a good way!
Freddie Mercury. I love you.
Rest In...
Peace!

My room is not completely finished yet (takes a while when your not living there full-time) .... (takes a while when you're sort of a perfectionist as well).
Here's at least some photos to give you a hint of what I'm going for:

Renovation
As I've mentioned in my earlier posts me and my family have moved this summer.
I wanted to be a part of the renovation so first of all I took the whole resbonsibilty to get my own room in a appropriate condition, but I've also helped with the other rooms in the house.
Here's some basic advices if you're going to renovate sometime:
1. Make sure the floor is totally covered before you start if you're planning to keep it. Otherwise there will definitly be spots of wall colour, or something like it, on it before you're done. (I did the mistake not to)
2. Buy the right type of colour depending on what you're going to paint! If you're painting on a wooden object that has never been painted or lacquered before (either it's a wall, desktop or a footstool) it's always a good choice to start with a coating layer of ground colour. Either way, you should also rug the surface with sandpaper and wash it before you paint it.
3. Be patient! Wait at least the time that's recommended on the paintcan, then you can continue with the noticeable layer(s) of paint. If you don't there can be bubbles at the surface or other irritating stuff.
4. If you're painting your walls in a light colour like I did, make sure there are no scratches, dents or other destructive flaws at the previous layer of paint/wallpaper at the wall. These will unfortunately stand out even more when the wall becomes brighter. You can fix the smaller damages/scratches with putty and glassfiber tape.
5. If the wall is covered all over the place with smaller damages you can use a very effective method called Recover. Recover is like an ordirnary wallpaper but it's thicker and a little bit harder. It gives a beautiful and fresh result. It's a little bit more expensive then the earliery mentioned method, but still by far purchasable and you save alot of time.
6. My last advice is very important. I beg you to really go for it when you have the vision of your room clearly in your head. Don't stop until you're fully satisfied with it. It should be a room where you feel comfortable, that feels personal to you and that you feel proud of showing to your friends.
Peace!

Destino
I will ask you a well-known and since long discussed question - Do you believe in destiny?
Is everything meant to be or is life just a random link of cohesive choices that we do?
Does something like a higher power or a God even exist?
Has the Big Bang really happend or is it just something that our scientist have made up?
... And if it actually occurred, was it just a fortuity or is there something out there bigger and smarter for us to understand? Are we and our galaxy, or even the whole universe, just some simple experiment to a greater species than the humankind?
Is it true that some things are dead and unable to think, feel and remember, or is it just that we havent found a way to understand their way of thinking, feeling, etc? What if the stones and trees are collecting memories? What if the ocean can feel, see and hear? Or maybe even take in more impressions than we can with our weak senses?
Is there a certain person in the world that you are meant to meet sometime, somewhere during your life and there after will remain together and happy with for the rest of your life?
And what about time, how do you define time if you really think about it? What is time?
Which differences can time make when it comes to the question of love?
There's a lot of big questions that we probably will never get an answer to. I think they're important to remember though and with the right persons around you they can be really fascinating to discuss. They increase your way of thinking about... Everything.
Here's an interesting video wich became the result of a collabroation between the great spanish surrealistic artist Salvador DalĂ and the famous cartoon creator Walt Disney. It deals with these enigmas from a different, beautiful and nearly magic angle.
The film tells the story of Chronos, the personification of time and the inability to realize his desire to love for a mortal. The scenes blend a series of surreal paintings of Dali with dancing and metamorphosis.
In there different point of views Dali has described the movie as "A magical display of the problem of life in the labyrinth of time."
While Disney described it as "A simple story about a young girl in search of true love."
Now the question is - How would you describe it? And even more interesting, how would you answer these questions?
Peace.
