When the sky turns blue

Oh my God...
... Literally.

I'm writing a story for the moment that I've decided to name "When the sky turned blue". I think it's great (if you're ever allowed to complement your own work like that).

It's actually about my own version of God and how the Earth was created,
Here's a draft, the very beginning of the story:

" Once upon a time there was a planet. A planet much mightier than the ones anyone of us has ever been aware about. On this planet all the races were bound together as one by the fenomenon of love, dreams and destiny.
If you only loved one person and loved your beloved deeply, you could be certain that you and the owner of yor heart would be given everything that is said to come with a marvelous relationship. If you had but one dream and the dream of yours was grand enough, you could be certain that it would eventually come true. And if you believed in destiny and that you simply had been given a single of your own, you could be certain that your destiny would form the canvas that by time would be covered by the colours of your life. "

This might sound pretty beautiful to you, but I can promise you that everything that glitters is not gold in this story.

Peace.

I'm unsure about the movie

Earlier I spooke about a movie that I was making for school about Scotland.
Well, the movie is finished, but... You see, I feel a little bit unsure about publishing it or not.
I'm wondering about how long it would take for me took regain my selfrespect after letting it out on the internet, haha.
My gramar is embarrassing at some times in the movie (like when we had been filming for 8 hours in a row) and I don't know if you would love me or hate me for my exuberant energy.

Lets just say we'll see, key?
Thought I would at least let you know though.

Peace.

In progress 3: "Hen"

Okey, the only thing that's different with the picture since last time is that I have added some more contrast to it.

Right, and I've also added some colour to the upper part of the scale.

Peace.

In progress 2: "Hen"

I really like how it's starting to turn out!

It's really hard to get the metallic shine in the materials, but I think I got it under control so far.

Peace.

In progress 1: "Hen"

Gosh! I really have to listen to music while painting.
Right now in my phones: "To cut a long story short" - Spandau Ballet.

The painting is being made in acrylic.

Peace.

Starting painting: "Hen"

In sweden a new word has been established - Hen.
It's a word that can be used when a person is gender-neutral, neither a woman nor man.
So instead of saying he or she (in swedish han or hon) you just say "hen".

We got an assignment in art class last week where we were supposed to paint our own view of the expresion "hen".

And this is my sketch.

Peace.

Moving

It's now official - I'm moving!

It feels very bittersweet to move from the house you have lived in since you were born, but it also feels exciting with the change.
I guess I'll survive.

I'm litterly raised in the forest and I will really miss that part of our current home, the closeness and connectedness to nature. I feel like Noah in The Notebook :

"Noah listened to the crickets and the rustling leaves, thinking that the sounds of nature is more real and aroused more emotion then things like cars and planes. Natural things gave back more then they took, and their sounds always brouht him back to tha way man were supposed to be. There where times in the war, especially after a major engagement, when he had often thought about these simple sounds. "It'll keeps you from going crazy," his father had told him the day he'd shipped out."
... Therefor I've decided to try to decorate my new room so it'll get a touch of it, the nature. I don't want it to feel too sentimental/nostalgic though, so I'm thinking about using some oriental colours to the wallpaper of the room.

Maybe one of these will cover my walls? What do you think?
Are they too much? Is there a risk of getting tired of them?
Tell me!

Peace

In progress 1: "Awesome shoulder bag"

I have a knitting that I've been working on quite a while...
It is going to become an awesome shoulder bag sometime. I haven't really had time to finish it though... But as they say, better to light a candle then to curse the darkness.
Anyway, now it's growing for almost every day and hopefully it will turn out fabulous as I'm not making it for myself but for a friend of mine.

This is going to be the mainpart of the bag after I've embroidered it and sort of folded it together.

What do you think? Any Opinions so far?

Peace.

East of Eden

Okey, so I watched a movie this weekend that might seem a little dorkey of me to you...
It's called "East of Eden" and it's made in 1955, hehe...
I found it really good though, better then most of the shit that runs on the screens 24 7 now'a'days.
I actually recommend it.

"In the Salinas Valley, in and around World War I, Cal Trask feels he must compete against overwhelming odds with his brother Aron for the love of their father Adam. Cal is frustrated at every turn, from his reaction to the war, to how to get ahead in business and in life, to how to relate to estranged mother."

The third harvest

I have to say,
My science teacher is one of the most inpiring people I've ever met.
She really knows how to make the most boring topic or school subject into something fantastically fascinating...
And besides that, I allready had the intrest of cultivating (one half of my closest ancestors were farmers, so, yeah...)

Anyway, since early this spring I've been cultivating some of my own crops, or sprouts really. They are great on a sandwich, to a salad or why not make a smoothie of them?

This sort in particular is called Alfalfa and is really easy to cultivate yourself. They grow fast and doesnt need a lot of your time or gardeners skills, but still they contain more protein and fiber and eight times more vitamin C than ordernary salad. They also contain a substance called phytoestrogens, which is said to prevent breast and prostate cancer.

My seeds are bought in a health-store, but I guess you might find them at an ordenary farmacy, grocery store or maybe at some flower shops as well.
You soak the seeds over a night before “planting” them. If you havent tried or tasted this before you could start by soaking 2 msk (1 fluid ounce).
Why I wrote “planting” is because you don’t really put them in the soil, instead you just keep them in a can with a ventilating cloth over the opening.
Then, to keep your sprouts in top condition during the whole growing process, you should rinse them at least a couple of times a day. The sprouts also like to be kept in the dark.

Try it! You won’t regret it!
Easy, tasty and healthy!
